Capella University faculty member named president-elect of the Texas Mental Health Counselors Association

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 10, 2007 – Dr. Christopher Lucies, a core faculty member with Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited,* fully online university, has been named president-elect of the Texas Mental Health Counselors Association (TMHCA). Dr. Lucies, who teaches for the CACREP (the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) counseling education and counseling studies programs in the online university’s School of Human Services, was elected in September. He will serve a three-year term: one year as president-elect, one year as president, and one year as a consultant to the TMHCA board. (more…)

Capella University faculty member named president-elect of the Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy

MINNEAPOLIS, October 30, 2007 – Dr. AnnaLynn Schooley, a core faculty member with Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited*, fully online university based in Minneapolis, has been named president-elect of the Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She will serve a three-year term. Dr. Schooley teaches clinical courses, such as pre-practicum residency, and field experience courses, where students intern in mental health agencies, in the online university’s School of Human Services.
