MINNEAPOLIS, March 21, 2008 — Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited,* fully online university, announced today that the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has acknowledged that three Capella HR programs fully align with SHRM’s HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates. MINNEAPOLIS, March 20, 2008 – The tower of the largest office building in Minneapolis, currently known as 225 South Sixth, will be renamed the Capella Tower under an expanded and extended lease by its largest tenant, Capella Education Company (NASDAQ: CPLA). Capella, which is the parent company of the fully online Capella University (www.capella.edu), will bring together its more than 1,150 Twin Cities-based employees in the building complex in early 2009. MINNEAPOLIS, March 5, 2008 — The International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) has named Capella University (www.capella.edu) faculty member Darlene Van Tiem as the new president-elect of ISPI’s international board of directors. MINNEAPOLIS, March 3, 2008 – The National Alliance of Community and Technical Colleges (NACTC) has named Generosa López-Molina, a doctoral student in Capella University’s (www.capella.edu) School of Education, as the next president of its executive board. The NACTC is a consortium of 31 community and technical colleges from across the nation, first assembled in 1979 by the National Center for Research in Vocational Education (NCRVE) at Ohio State University.
